PARKING LOT

ISSUE
Large community requested a new 218 space parking lot for staff which required extension of a roadway, utilities, and sidewalk. The parking lot and roadway extension were in areas of poor subgrade soils and shallow groundwater.
SOLUTION

Clearing and preparation of over 5 acres

Installation and maintenance of all erosion control including inspection services.

Export of over 40,000 yd³ of unsuitable materials.

400 tons of Portland subgrade stabilization.

Import of over 15,000 tons of aggregates for subgrade preparation.

Nearly 1,000 LF of new stormwater pipelines and associated structures.

500 LF of new waterline with valves and hydrant.

Installation of over 1,800 LF of new curb

Installation of over 1,600 LF of new sidewalk.

Over 8,000 yd² of asphalt paving including striping and signs.

New LED street lighting package.
RESULTS
The project required multiple trades and very tight logistics. It was successful considering completion 2-weeks ahead of our deadline.
